Just send this email out (sadly it was sent to everyone, but it was meant for people who haven't posted yet).
Hi

I see that you've registered for the Skiing.ie Message Board, but you still have to make your first post. Let me know if there is anything I can help you out with.

The 2008/09 season is fast approaching and our message board is getting more and more popular. So just jump in and introduce yourself.

If you have lost your password, you can get another one at Irish Skiing & Snowboarding Forums - Lost Password Recovery Form (http://www.skiing.ie/forum/login.php?do=lostpw) by entering in your email address and typing Dublin in the answer field to the question.

Regards,
Paul Savage - Skiing.ie - Skiing Fanatic So sorry if you have posted, but got this.

And while we are on the topic, if you have any ideas on how to get more people to post do let me know. Currently there are 50 members who have registered but never posted !

Paul I'll fire off an email to some friends to see if they are interested in joining. Either way there is a lot of information here, some really well tailored to the Irish market, and it has helped me out a bit. I'm sure more people will come.

To be honest I things are going nice and well here. Not too many new posts, and not too much noise. Sometimes forums, take boards.ie for example, are just too overwhelming. I think Paul and the other posters here are really providing helpful information and giving great tips. Keep up the good work, I know I will be telling my friends about this site.

One thing that would help is more pictures of women in bikinis skiing. ;)

I was just thinking yesterday while driving off Kilternan that even some car stickers ( decals are more expensive ) would be nice to advertise the forum a bit. I wouldn't mind sticking one on my back window...

Raul.

Good idea Raul, this is something I should look into. I will see if there are any manufactures that can do reasonably sized runs.Right now, we are getting 3-4 times more visitors than last year, so we must be doing something right.
