I'm an intermediate skier and the only resort I have gone skiing in is Livigno. I really want to go to a different resort next year. Can anyone please advise of another resort as good as Livigno?

If you are an intermediate then most of these places would be suited to you. I've been to a few in Austria and I'd say you couldn't go wrong there.

Canazie, Sauze d'Oulx, Sestriere or Cervinia in Italy, Morizien,Flaine or Les Menuires in France, skied Livigno, any of these would be better.

Another vote for Les Menuires or Livigno , I've been to those resorts and there is enough challenges there.

I was at Obertauern at the weekend, which is #3 on guidons list, and the snow was great. Would definitely recommend it !

I'm off to St Anton in a couple of weeks. Friends who've been there tell me that it's ideal for intermediate skiers. Really looking forward to it. Anyone on here been there?

I would highly recommend Pas de la Casa in Andorra, your ski pass will give you access to regions, Soldeu, El Tarter, Encamp and Grau roig, the latter just over the mountain from Pas de la Casa. There is a huge range of good red slopes and also a few lovely forest runs in Grau roig. You will find very little difference between the reds and most blacks apart from the width, you certainly don't need to be an expert to enjoy some blacks on offer.
