Just wondering what peoples preferences are on this topics. I can see advantages and disadvantages to both, and I think that either way you will have a great holiday, but I was just wondering what peoples preferences were.
I've gone on ski holidays with the lads, or a group of friends, and we would be around 10-15 people. What's great is that in a group you are sure to find at least 1 or 2 people around your level. Also snowboarders and skiers don't really fit together (basically, good skiers ski too fast & snowboarders like to sit down regularly).
Last year for the first time I went with my girlfriend and it was great, as she can ski at the same level as me, but I'm wondering what it would be like in a small group, and you don't have that. Whether you are the more experienced person, or the lesser experienced person, I think you would find it frustrating. Waiting or being under pressure to catch up can be a real buzz kill I've found. Maybe that's because I'm a man of little patience !
