HI All
I’m heading for Zell am See in February skiing, looking for any tips and things I should do while we are there.

Zell am See is a great resort, on the side of a lake, and has a sizeable town around it. The lake is generally frozen over in the winter, and is worth to walk on. See, in German means lake. I hope you are an experienced skier, as Zell am See has mostly blacks and reds, unless you go over near the Kapellenbahn. But at the kapellenbahn there isn't enough runs to keep a beginner occupied for the whole week , IMHO.
Zell am See is beside Kaprun, the famous glacier, and has some great runs. You can take the ski bus over there from Zell am See. There are more red and blue runs there, and more beginner, intermediate friendly. Mind you there can be a bit of a queue getting up there in the mornings.

Thanks for the reply "GUIDON", this is my fourth time skiing so hopefully it won’t be too daunting.

No problem ! One last tip for Zell am See, if you are near the city then check out Pizzeria Giuseppe, for some fantastic pizza.

Some excellent restaurants on the mountain! And some good bars for apres-ski.
