Where are you skiing in 2008

I thought it would be a good idea to hear of where people are going this year ? I am off to Ischgl in Austria in January for a week with my friends, I will be snowboarding in a bunch of skiers. I've been keeping an eye on the snow levels on bergfx.at for the past few weeks and it's already looking great. This year I've been very organised and we have all paid the tour operator already. So now I just have to think what to pack for the slopes.

Snow Snow here I come !

I am off to Mayrhofen - Zillertal , currently there is 45cm of snow on the mountain !

Ischgl is a great place, there is a pretty good aprés ski going on there.

I'm just back from a week in Val Thorens, it was amazing ! Great snow and lots and lots of pistes to fly around. It was great that the weather wasn't too cold, as I am not such a big fan of the cold. The resort wasn't too packed either, I guess many people are still nervous after last year's ski season.

Easter Skiing in Stubai Glacier, Austria ! 4 days of snow and fun hopefully. They have over 200cm of snow on the moutain currently.

We are staying in Innsbruck as there is plenty of accommodation there over Easter. Easter Skiing is really great, it's normally the last time each year that all the slopes are open in many resorts . Also once I went, the staff spent the last night drinking with us, they allowed us to pull the beers !

I was skiing on the Dolomites in Italy this year, great weather, great snow, great fun and my skiing improved ! We went to a place called Marilleva the resort was Madonna Di Campiglio if I spelled that correctly.
