Best Snowboarding Resort in Canada?

Hi Folks,
Looking to find out the generally accepted best snowboarding resort in Canada, so far a friend has recommended Banff & Sunshine, but for a 2-3 week holiday, I want to base myself in one resort rather than use\waste time travelling between resorts.
I'm looking for any advice on accommodation, places to stay\eat, ski passes, cost of flights, etc. I’m looking into this as a January\ February 2013 trip.

Only been to one but that was for the season. Whistler is an awesome summe aswell as winter. The best all round in the world supposedly for the combination of both. Just bear in mind that in Banff, the mountain is at least 30 minutes drive, though still a nice place!
