Hi all,
I was thinking of doing some of the lessons at the dry slopes in Kiltearnan before I go on my holiday next year. And I was wondering if I got annual ski insurance, would I be covered by this ? I guess it depends on the insurance company ?
Thanks,
Claire

good question ! I never thought about that. My guess is that it wouldn't as many of the insurance places seem to disallow more than they allow these days !

I'm sure you would be covered for things like this by VHI, if you have it. Either way insurance is a must when skiing ! It's not just you you have to take care of , it's all the other beginners out there too.
One of my friends had a bad accident on the 2nd day, when some little beginner kid crashed into her and somehow managed to make her pull ligaments in her knee. Needless to say she was told by the doctor not to ski for the rest of the week, to allow the swelling go down. She just drowned her sorrows at the mountain top bar. At least she used her ski pass I guess !
