I went to La Plagne last year and it was great. It's joined to Les Arcs, in case you don't know where abouts it is. Here is some info from wikipedia
La Plagne has 225 kilometers (140 mi) of slopes (134 slopes : 15 black (expert), 30 red (advanced), 72 blue (intermediate) and 10 green (beginner)), and an immense off-skiing area, with great spots like Bellecôte's North Face.

What I liked was the nice wide pistes and the aprés ski. I really wanted to do the Bobsleigh (mono one) http://www.la-plagne.com/en/bobsleigh_fr.phtml and I was prepared to pay the €95 for the pleasure, but I had left it too late to book. :(

wow that Bob-sleighing looks the bees knees ! it doesn't seem like there is that much control though, but I'm sure it would be a great buzz to try it out once.

Yikes ! That looks like a blast. I was at a resort once and they offered ice climbing as something extra to try out. But solo bob-sleighing is a whole other level of adrenalin !

Well I saw someone do it and it looked mad. But I'm guessing that guy in the video was a professional. There is a steering bar inside the cockpit.

La Plagne is connected to Les Arcs right ? I remember someone telling me you can get a skipass for both.

Yes you are right admin. La Plagne was big enough for me, and I didn't fork out the extra cash to get the special pass. There are plenty of slopes and challenges at La Plagne !

up to much

Bob-sleighing would be great crack I'd say. I'd love to try the skulling, when you go down the track head first . I think there was an Irish guy at the Salt Lake Olympics who did it. He was the only Irish winter sports participant that year as far as I remember.

I'm sure the €100 is worth the adrenaline rush. Almost like a bungee jumping except a little longer.

@Phil i'd say it would be better than a bungee jump, zipping around those corners at high speed would be such a rush

Now this seems like my kinda fun. I wonder what kind of speeds that thing could pick up .. zoooooom !
